PIE conducts an Academic Skills Development Workshop at Asian University
PIE conducted an academic skills development workshop for the students and faculty of Asian University on 20th March. Many grad and post grad students attended the work shop along with senior staff and faculty of Asian University. The workshop was held at Asian University auditorium. Founder and Vice Chancellor of Asian University Prof. Abul Hassan M. Sadeq attended the workshop along with the Dean of Business Prof. Abdus Salam. Many other senior faculty members of the university were present as well.
Mr. Rezwan, Business and Communications expert at PIE, began the workshop with discussing the importance of communication. He walked the participants through the basics of academic communication. He also talked about the latest presentation trends, techs, and best practices. Mr. Talha, a senior instructor at PIE, then took the stage to discuss the importance of standardized tests like GRE and GMAT. On audience’s demand, he also discussed test techniques and structures of popular English Proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE.
Lastly, Mr. Zia, PIE’s senior most guidance counselor and Ms. Atika, PIE’s one of the most renowned guidance counselor and faculty, led a lively discussion with the attendees about scholarship opportunities for grad and post-grad students in abroad. Participants and AUB staff really appreciated the breakdown of application process for international university admissions.
Pi International Education regularly conducts workshops at different educational and professional institutions all over the country. These workshops aim to improve the soft skills development of students from all academic backgrounds.
